Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the COBRA conference will return to UC Davis on March 4, 2025!

The Community Of Bay area RAdionuclide imagers (COBRA), originally conceived by Bruce Hasegawa and Ling Shao in 2006 at UCSF, has provided a collaborative networking and educational venue for Bay Area researchers in nuclear imaging for several years.

The COBRA mission

The main aim of COBRA is to connect interdisciplinary researchers in the Bay Area to boost collaborative projects and strengthen our network. COBRA provides an incubator for groundbreaking ideas and pushes the boundaries of nuclear imaging by promoting discussion about the current frontiers in the field.

Who is invited?

Anyone in academia, government, or industry who is involved or interested in the field of nuclear imaging and is available to attend the in-person meeting at the UC Davis campus in Sacramento. We especially encourage people from diverse backgrounds: MDs (clinical or preclinical), engineers (nuclear, electrical, mechanical, etc.), junior researchers in quantitative sciences, etc.

Register for this free day-long conference here.

Where and when

COBRA 2025 will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at the UC Davis' Betty Irene Moore Hall in Sacramento. We hope you will save the date and look forward to meeting you.

What to expect

COBRA 2025 will be an in-person meeting discussing the latest developments in nuclear imaging with a very special emphasis on networking and fostering collaboration between institutions. The detailed agenda is in the works. Stay tuned for future announcements!

Please share this invitation with your students, peers, and colleagues to get the word out. We look forward to seeing you in Sacramento!

With best regards,

COBRA steering committee
